osCommerce looks good, but I can't seem to bring myself to install something that requires register_globals to be on...

I was always under the impression that OSC was the best. Then I found out about zencart, basically OSC with all the best addons pre-installed.

Now I found out about VirtueMart, which plugs into Joomla. I've been swayed!

'Running Up Post Count/Post Has No Value'

Who is the cowardly person who posted that remark on my rep and decided to remain anonymous?

    Check my join date.....Nov 2005. Wow, I'm really posting a lot aren't I.

I am not posting comments to run up my post count. Is there some sort of prize for having a large post count or something?

I posted that comment because I was genuinely amused by the previous post.

To Mr anonymous, why don't you go and get a life.....

    renomart,

don't worry about it. there's a few people on here who feel it's their duty to be self appointed DP security guards, and they go around trying to call people out all day long because they have nothing better to do with their pathetic existance. but there's enough cool people on here to more than make up for it.

    My fav is ThirdSphere.com

You pay monthly, but it handles your sales very smoothly and easily...Also has a great automated affiliate program to build up your own personal list of affiliates.

I've used Mals eCommerce cart (www.mals-e.com). It's free, easy to use and integrates with many payment systems. Well over 100,000 users of it.

To TwistMyArm - Mals eCommerce includes free tracking (it's called mTracker). Very easy to use if you're setting up an affiliate system on your site.
