Best Shopping Cart Available For This Idea?

I'm looking for a shopping cart software that will hold 1500-3000 items. It will be setup like a catalog and will used multiple times on different sites and servers. After setting it up once, the next time I would like to just install it and upload a mysql database and boom! all of the products will be there as the other. I would need it to accept credit cards and paypal along with some other options. Does anyone have a good idea? Thanks.

I seconded Jim, setup the oscommerce, for multiple sites just use phpmyadmin to upload the mysql.

If you use the same cart for different sites, won't the style change from the site to the cart? I don't really like sites that bounce me from one site to another personally, so I'd just set up the cart for the different site separately. If you are using the same cart program, you should just be able to copy the product catalog from one site to use on the other. That way the site design / logo will remain the same through out.

If I am off base let me know, but that's just my two cents.

    Hello Scott,

Try Avactis Shopping Cart. It support PayPal and can be installed on different servers. They have free version also, if you prefer not to pay for the software.

EcommerceTemplates.com - Nice & Reliable Shopping Cart. I've been using them since 3 years for various purposes and found no problem with them

xcart is a decent option as well and it can handle many products and is super robust with features.
