I'm about to launch a game website, and I want to know which Seth Godin book pertains the most to online marketing. As a marketer, I feel required to read at least one of Seth's books.
Read 'em all! All of Seth Godin's books pertain to Internet marketing, even those that aren't addressing the Internet directly. If you have a background in marketing already, I think Purple Cow is a very insightful read - dispell many of the tired myths from marketing scholars who have long since expired. What kind of "game website" are you involved in? This is my particular area of work too so it might be good to toss around some ideas, thoughts and contact. Feel free to drop me a PM.
I have read most of his books, and I think all of them are great. At the moment, I am reading All Marketers Are liars, and I really recommend it. The next one I'll read will be Tribe, and then, I will have read them all - Jens
I'm afraid none of them. Not even his blog is much of a help, which is a shame. See if your library has any of his books.
I have some Seth's book in my shelf. Purple Cow is something I recommend, but I'm sure reading others (and his blog) won't do any harm...
