I don't know what the best seo tool is. But I use Google Keywords.

 

gotta be excel, the swiss army knife for any seo-er.

There are lots of different tools for KW research, directory submissions, articles submission, forum spamming, etc.

 

is very hard to tell wich is the best! maybe one do one thing and other do another thing! what's usefull for me maybe is not important for you!

 

I like www.spyfu.com to target high paying keywords or domains. Otherwise, you risk developing a site that pays pennies for Adsense.

There are 100's of good SEO tools out there it just depends on what you need ranking, backlink checkers, anchor checkers, pr checkers, load time analyzers etc.. or if you are trying to find dofollow blogs and what not. You really need to be more specific. If you're talking about automate link tools I don't recommend it unless you really know what you are doing
