i have already tried wordtracker but apart from that are their any other services that help in seo and give information like how many competitors are fighthing for the same keyword etc..would really help if i come to know..thanks
What you're talking about is keyword competitiveness. There's a good thread over at http://forums.searchenginewatch.com/showthread.php?t=4670 To gauge keyword competitiveness I typically just look at the number of results Google pulls up for a keyword search. 50,000,000+ results is competitive, while 6,000 results = considerably less so.
Here are a few suggestions. I myself have not used these, but my company does and has seen much success: Keyword Elite Rapid Keywords Adwords & Keywords Trellian SEO Toolkit Traffic Seeker 7.0 AddWeb 8.0 Hope this helps -D
i actually want it specially for coming to know the competition for a particular keyword..as in how many people are bidding for the same keyword etc...any one??
You can do that normally by seeing top 50 results plus this tool... http://www.googlerankings.com/ is really helpful to check your ranks.
If you sign up for a Google AdWords account there are some keyword tools in their that will give you an idea of keyword competition. See also: http://www.webref.eu/seo-tools.php that might help you out. Rgds Accel
yes, nichewatch is also good and as far as I know it is a work of some people active also here on DP. BTW it is quite funny, as the PRD (Page Rank of Domain) means FART in Slovak language so it looks like NW is evaluating number of farts as a significant factor of the site optimization
