Hello, Can anyone please suggest me about a 6 months SEO plan ? I am running a ecommerce website have 1000s of pages and 100s of products.
Check out the seo forum here http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=12 Loads of advice. Slow steady link building using article submissions and gathering related links could be a start off point. Maybe find niche directories and submit to them
I think DP Forums shows relevant information about long term SEO services.. How ever, it is better to follow the seo tutorial's or seo e-books like webconfs and seotutorial etc...
i think what you need is 3 steps: 1) read read read 2) learn learn learn 3) put in practice all what you have learned
Forget about directory submission. Forget about manual submission to media sites. Focus on writing quality content and study the link baiting techniques. This is the best SEO and it needs a few months to become effective. In 6 months you will be able to see the first results.
Exactly as adillian said, best SEO is writting killer organic content that will naturally attract links.
Build your website for your visitors and focus more on what is good for them, then search engine and traffic will follow
If you have six months you have time to build links slowly. Good content always helps, especially if its an easier keyword, but focus on building a few good links every day, get on social sites etc.
Great content that will take off on Stumbleupon or Reddit is probably a good way to get some natural links- difficult, but works...
May be you can have a look at this: http://www.jimkarter.com/2007-04-14-my-link-building-strategy.html
Dear ankitkrag, First 3 months you will work on forums posting, post that comment in social bookmarking sites, articles submission. By doing this work you will get good position after that you will start on SEO work like DS, LB, etc...
use the fresh content to promote the websites. There are so many ways such as Blog, article and blog commenting.
Author Rank and reputation are definitely the deciding parameters in this updated Google scenario. Including company's links unnecessarily anywhere; be it article, blog comments or forum signatures, everything should be prohibited now. Focus on earning links from other websites so they look natural. there is a difference between earning links and planting them, earning brings you reputation and quality while planting will only degrade your reputation and online presence.
Ha, if you ask a broad question like you did OP, you get rubbish answers like this, from people who clearly have no idea what they are talking about. Planting links will only degrade your online reputation and presence Read some SEO blogs, do your research, its not hard.
