Hello, I have a problem I am trying to solve and I wanted to get the opinions of others on this forum regarding SEO and some of the self help products I am offering.

My self help web site has a number of different categories such as "Mental Health, Relationships, Health." Within each category, I have a number of products, like for example, "Cure your depression ebook, cure your anxiety ebook." In determining the URL for the products that I am using, there are basically two ways I can implement this. Either with a url like:

    website.com/products/mental-health/product1
    website.com/products/mental-health/product2
    website.com/products/mental-health/product3

The good thing about this format is if I BUILD my seo HIGH on any of these urls, if I need to swap out for another product, I can do so, and not lose my SEO I have built.

The other options is to use something more specific:

    website.com/products/mental-health/cure-your-anxiety
    website.com/products/mental-health/john-smiths-depression-cure-system

Now the benefit of these products is that the URL could possibly be much more targeted to certain keywords, but if the product doesn't do well, I have to completely rebuild SEO if I want to replace one of these products with a new product.

Any recommendations on what works best?

Another thing I could do is add additional info in the url and utilize a URL that has a mixture of both approaches like so: (utilizing smaller subcategories):
    website.com/products/mental-health/anxiety/product1
    website.com/products/mental-health/anxiety/product2
    website.com/products/mental-health/depression/product1

    or even:

    website.com/products/mental-health/anxiety-product1
    website.com/products/mental-health/anxiety-product2
    website.com/products/mental-health/depression-product1

This way, I would at least have better keywording in my urls, and I could swap out products if need be, assuming the product was similar enough to a previous product.

    Thanks for your help.
