    i use heatmap. am new user, so i don't have much to share about the results. it's easy to use, though. and i just install all in one seo to handle meta-related seo work.

    I love WordPress and use it on almost all of my sites, but the problem is that it does add a lot of crap to the code of the site. It's still semantic, but there is a lot of junk and I've noticed WordPress page sizes are much bigger than on any other CMS.

    I also really like Roots Theme: http://www.rootstheme.com which strips almost all of the bad stuff from WordPress.

    i suggest you choose a fast/speed optimized theme and use Wordpress SEO plugin, in my opinion this is the best combination for a wordpress website/blog.
