    I am looking for good seo friendly shopping cart opn source or free:)

    I tried following but none of them is seo friendly. I have not much knowledge in programming. Is there any other good shopping cart

    • OScomerce
    • Zen cart
    • Open cart
    • Cube cart

    I want basic functionality with SEO optimized URL, title, Meta etc.

    Any Suggestions:confused:

    zen cart has an 'ultimate seo' module which makes the page urls seo friendly or static, that would help. Also allows insertion of unique meta tags for each product.

    The best SEO you can use for those shopping cart programs is to write targetted product descriptions.

    Generally none of the open source solutions are very seo friendly. They are built by programmers, and not SEO's/Marketers :)

    that's right product descriptions are important but seo friendly url's helps to cover index better.

    Better coverage means better chances of coming up in search engines for many keywords.

    I think OScommer is already a good choice. if you need a SEO friendly, I think you still can modify the meta title and description of each page. might be a bit more work to do but for the free software what do you expected. ^^
