Which BST section would be most appropriate for advertising an SEO and article writing job?

    Thanks!

I can not tell from your post the type SEO service you are seeking. If you are seeking fresh content for your site, you need to advertise in content creation area if fee for content is greater than five dollars or in cheap stuff if fee is five dollars or less.

If you are seeking multiple services in single thread would place it in service area.

Thanks Smyrl, the position is for someone who would promote a business website through off-site SEO and by writing blog posts for the site.

It sounds like you may be wading into territory that could violate DP's posting guidlines. Be sure to list the services you are seeking and make sure they do not violate our posting guidelines. You are seeking a service so place in service area.

I don't want to break the rules, but don't see how my post would. Can you please explain?

    Thanks!

Basically, it's either got to go into Service area or Content Creation area. It's a lottery on which is actually the correct section. Different moderators would probably view it differently.

No you are missing the issue. They are alluding to the concept of off-site SEO and if that involves spamming blog comments or other forums or websites (as it does in many cases), then it is not allowable to seek services for those types of things.

At least that is how I read the warning.

browntwn is right. Or making web 2.0s, for example. Any kind of spam like that. There are a couple of stickies detailing what is/isn't appropriate.
