best Search Engine

Lets debate on the best overall search engine other than google...... Put forth ur opinions....

I start with windows live!

 

Other than Google, I would have to go with Yahoo.

 

yahoo is much better then live

 

So it is everything about Google, Yahoo, and MSN (Live). I think it will b very difficult for someone other to take any position in between them.

 

Google ranks 1st, yahoo and msn follows

 

Yahoo is better by far. Live throws up completely irrelevant results the majority of the time. If we're discussing search engines, what about meta search engines, ones that take their results from a number of organic engines?

What about ASK ?

 

Google generally has the best search engine results.

I've tried using Yahoo, but the results aren't good. Also, Yahoo allows paid placement -- so some of those supposed "natural search results" are actually paid for by companies.

I think that MSN Live is the worst of the major search engines. I wouldn't even call MSN Live a major search engine because it doesn't send any traffic. On many of my sites Ask.com sends more traffic.

 

I was using AltaVista before Google became the new "hit" in town.

 

Altavista is still around, but their search results come from Yahoo.

 

Google, then Yahoo, then Ask, then Dogpile, then Altavista, then Live.

Thats my order of search engiens.

 

Google is the best, Yahoo I guess can be considered second. Though I still always use Google.

 

live.com is nice

 

I use Clusty.com sometimes instead of Google

Organises search results well

 

A9 & Clusty are quite good for me
