    Hi, where can I buy a Ruby on Rails book with sample applications on CD... I want to learn about RoR, and how this language works. I need sample opensource applications, but I can't find it on the net, even hotscripts doesn't have RoR Sample Apps... That's why I'm looking for a book with sample working apps, I hope someone can suggest regarding this one.. :(

    most books come with 'links' to source code repository. the best way to learn however, is to dive right into the code and create something, etc...

    I've bought Agile web development on rails pdf version only from Pragmatic Programmers site. All the text is copy-paste-able, so I do not need a CD. The book is great and worth every cent I paid for it
