    I think W3schools is one of the best website for HTML, css tutorials and other languages,if you learn sincerely. it will helps you a lot.

    W3Schools certainly helped a lot. I learned basically by diving in and setting up websites in dreamweaver, every time I reached a problem I would go try and find the answer on tutorials or forums. Lots of application is the best way to learn.

    I would suggest html.net, very simple site that guides you step by step and thru all the basic stuff.
    Have you tried Notepad++. So far, I love that software, kinda very good for learning html and css.

    I think W3schools is the best. I suggest that you try your hands first with html coding before moving to dream weaver. It can be quite challenging learning html, but I can be great fun
