Hello, I have a friend, who is interested in learning CSS. He prefer online solutions and as effective as possible. He doesnt need long stories about how it was invented etc. Simply good tutorials, which explain everything from scratch. I would appreciate if you could post some links. With best regards, Jonas
try these sites: http://www.csstutorial.net/introductionCSS.php http://www.cssbasics.com/ http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp good luck
Beside w3school, I learned css from htmldog.com and buy their book HTML Dog The Best Practice Guide to XHTML and CSS
This is a great site for learning CSS: http://www.csszengarden.com/ http://www.mezzoblue.com/zengarden/resources/
Use firefox and Install firebug, then visit the site that has the layout that you like and then play with it. Its the best tool that you could ever get !!!
They're not great for learning it if someone doesn't have any prior experience with the language. They do however, work if someone does have some knowledge but wants to expand it. Which really won't do much. Rather than playing around and seeing what works, one should sit down and actually learn the language. Which is why I'm going to second the recommendation for www.htmldog.com here.
http://www.htmldog.com or http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp or if you're looking for resources probably the best CSS resource site would be and will always be.. http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/learning Heck one the guy that created CSS is there..
