you can find everything you're looking for on this site, an ebook is not really necessary. use search function.

whatever questions you have, it's been asked here.

if for some reason it's not, use google.

all the info you need to be successful is free, you just need to look.

Best way to learn is to read forums, a few serious books and gain the real and fully trusted information by your own practice and experiments with google, but it takes lots of time.

    Hi Tough Guy,

the best way to learn SEO is reading a bit about it and then put the techniques to work to find out what works best for you. SEO is about how relevant you target an specific keyword. I personally, learned an effective SEO method when I signed up to Wealthy Affiliate. Not for nothing but I love that website.

    Anyway, just my two cents.

    Hi tough guy

I agree with Technomart. Arron Walls SEO book is great.

We put together a simple 10 step guide PDF that I was quiet proud of that is a good starting point.

If you want a copy you can get it email to you from the site bar of our site: www.editoptimisation.co.uk

yea one of the best places to learn SEO is from forum since you get details from other there exact steps they took to rank for a specific keyword and so fourth. Also yes Aaron Walls stuff is great to, I recently made a squidoo lens on Advanced SEO Services and the exact tools and resources they use to dominate the search engines, I have also put up some of Aaron Walls videos too.

I have listed the exact steps you want to take to get any site to rank in the top ten of the search engines for the keywords that they choose and all my recommendations for keyword tools and resources.

    Hi,

I have been using seo bible since 2 years. Even though its not the ideal one. It covers all the basics and the other things can be learnt online gradually.

You are perfectly right, but some theoretical knowledge never harm ... And since we're talking practical, we really should have the theoretical basis first.

Everyone that said "google it" or something like it is absolutely right , but , a good S.E.O. book that puts it all together before you can start practicing it's a lot better.

then let me ask you something ... did you knew to do keyword research for example before you read about it ? That counts as theoretical ... anything from tips (friends / google) to ebooks counts as theoretical knowledge. Of course, minutes from assuming that knowledge you get to practice, but that doesn't make theory insignifiant . Tell that to Aaron Wall and he'll stop publishing Books :))
