    Interested to know your thoughts as I am looking to upgrade.
    The two I've looked at so far and am considering are hostgator and godaddy.

    What do you guys think?

    I really like mine: fxhosting, let me see... http://fxstudios.net/. Super good/smart support, affordable, with Urchin stats, LAMP, it had everything I wanted. Plus with the smaller companies you'll be able to avoid having corporate wide policies regarding .htaccess files and that sort of thing. Ie. They let you play around more.

    If you want windows hosting, try www.freshlookhosting.com. Again, great everything, especially price, Urchin stats, but Windows.

    Ive read much of the reviews about hostgator, and had a look on their site myself. Im quite tempted to go down this route as well. :)

    I just signed up with HostGator three days ago. The first thing I have noticed is that their support is VERY good - 24hrs live chat.

    I had a reseller account with HostingZoom.com for over a year without any problems but lately they are just horrible with the downtime (4 days in the last week down 6-8 hours each day) as of late which is why I am going with HG.

    I don't know what Godaddy offers their resellers but if it is the same control panel they offer their customers you may have a hard time selling it.

    Are you going to resell? How much space and bw do you really need?

    There have been a lot of good offers posted on this site in last few months.

    Several members have reported poor experiences with godaddy hosting. hostgator have been great though . in fact, the success of hostgator has mostly been based on good reseller hosting plan :)
