Best Registrar

Which is the best registrar? I've gone through 4 of them excessively and still not able to decide where to go?

GoDaddy doesn't have anything special except for being popular, rather its the most expensive among the 4.

Namecheap has whois security free and is 2nd when it comes to pricing.

1and1 is offering at $4.95 for the first year.

Yahoo is $3.95 for the first year.

Can you guys help me? which way to go?

Yahoo is such a big organization but I've never heard anyone recommend it for domain and host. :(

While Godaddy is popular, we have had good luck with it. Its been pretty reliable.

i would say domainmonster.com. the control panel is really good, the whois privacy service is free no matter how much you able / disable it. emails are replied to within 4 business hours. they are also the best in registering new tld's when registries open.

Definitely Namecheap, i always go with them for the free whoisguard. There is nothing wrong with Godaddy, I just prefer to have free anonymity.

I don't recommend yahoo for domains, the renewal fee is $35. 1and1 just sucks.

Godaddy is OK, but you should always use a coupon. Then their prices are competitive.

    Namecheap is good.

I always use namecheap to register domains. Godaddy's website has been very unreliable for me in the past so I try and steer clear of it.

I can express the point that there are many accredited registrars available in the market, compare them and choose the best one.

If you are not american, stay away from american
registrars. they usually come up with ways to steal
good domains from you after noticing your name is
    not an american name.

trust me it happened to me many times.

My vote is for Namecheap.com. Don't get cheated with the low price. You've to find out whether they are reliable or not? Are they recognized by ICANN? And you'll be getting free whois subscription for the first year.. Now for less than $10 you can even get whois subscription for 5 domain names. There are other benefits also. Please check it before you start doing anything..
