snooby slice is and there is one more converter "http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/freeware/psd/to-html"
Still humans are the best tool, in case of html conversion. Try to learn html & css, or approach any we development firm.
You cannot beat coding and slicing manually. Its the only way you learn to understand how a website is put together and in my opinion if you cant learn how to do that you shouldnt be trying to make websites, leave it to people who can.
Absolutely true. Learn to code manually cause you should know the quality alongside of automation. Maybe you can use some free tool to help you generate the basic and then you tweak it manually. But you should not be dependent on any tool as such.
Dreamweaver is the best software to code your PSD templates, but it should be done manually. It requires knowledge of HTML and CSS...
I have used Snobby slicing tool for one of my small projects, It is good tool up to some extent .But I am not happy with the code it produce . I am professional psd to xhtml coder who is doing several projects per day . Hand coding is the best tool you can use , You can use Dreamweaver as your IDE . Once you learn HTML/CSS/JS well , you will get good confident to do all kinds of client side work using your hand . No need any automated tool . These days people are looking for commented / SEO friendly / W3c Valid HTML . So my advice is go for Hand Coded HTML
I code manually, slice and structure out the psd's and then write the code myself with either Dreamweaver, or mostly Zend studio. No tool I've seen so far produces code that is up to my standard
learn how to code a site properly. Stop using crappy tools. Junking up the web that way. Use notepad ++ and CSS3 with properly cut images. JEEEEEZ
it's probably good to use tools like snobbyslice if it's a one off thing but if you are going to do it more often, best to learn html and save some money.
