Best protection for my home computer please.

    Its very good.
    Also, you can try Avast if you need it for free. :D

    Same combination works for me great since long time.

    Using Avast 4.8 Home Edition alongwith ZoneAlarm without having any issue.

    I have not installed any kind of anti virus program or firewall for the last 2 years. Even my windows firewall and defender is turned off. Still i have'nt seen a single virus infection in my pc. Its not like that i dont use internet very often, instead i am always using it and my brother even use to visit porn sites.
    Reason -- i use 64-bit operating system. Most of the viruses dont work on 64-bit OS and those who managed to execute, its damn easy to trace them in the task manager itself. Then, hijack this take care of the rest.

    So if you are experienced user, then no need to install those resource hogging anti virus programs. The thing i hate about anti virus programs is that they consume much of system resources and always irritates you with alerts and messages.
