Best program for recording your screen (for videos)

Hi,
What is the best free or cheap screen recording software? I basically want to be able to record what i do to create a tutorial for something, along with either voice over or text instructions.

Thats only a trial, but its probably the best program out there. I think if you were looking to buy it, you would only need the "SnagIt" program, but I cannot really tell. When you run out of the 30 day trial for that, try using fraps. Its for gaming but It will work out. or maybe search download.com

Yeah Camtasia is the best I've seen ... not just for screencasts but for editing them as well ... costs a bit, but I think it's worth every penny!
