Best Program For my History Site

    Hi All,
I am currently running a bunch of sites, all of which generate decent revenue. Mostly through Adsense, sold links and a bunch of other revenue streams.

However, I am scratching my head a bit about one of my sites that I can't get to earn. It is a site that is based on Historical articles that we have written. It has great traffic with very steady amounts of new visitors each month.

I know my average viewer is either a high school or college aged person, with a few teachers and older readers thrown in.

My question is this: I have tried selling links, Adsense, and several affiliate programs - with little or no success.

I am wondering if any of you out there can recommend anything to me. It can be banners, PPC, Affiliate as long as it has the potential to perform for me.

I feel this site will work great, once I monetize it correctly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you have great traffic...then you should definitely do CPM. Since people that go to your site is there to read the content, I don't think they will click on any ads or signup for any offers. So use CPM is the best approach in my opinion :)

    Good luck

    Hi All,
I was thinking about trying Google / You Tube Video Units as well. But I'm not sure.

Check out Hydra network. As far as I know they have several educational offers to promote. To my mind these will work good for you. Good luck!

Depends on the keywords people are searching and come to your site. I had history website with quite good earnings but I really had to push ads "in your face" so to speak.
Check the keywords people are searching and put related ads(affiliate) on page they are coming to or really push google ads sitewide ....
