    Hi all,

Wondered if anyone could offer some help.

I'm a graphic artist that works exclusively in print. I have produced a 200 piece ring binder and inserts for a client's technical data sheets - all looks beautiful.

My client now wants to be able to provide a digital version on a CD, so I have collated all my pdfs in order, linked all the menus etc etc, which all works tickety boo.

My problem is how to finish off the job.

I need the cd to auto open when inserted into the client machine (predominantly Windows PC due to the nature of the industry in which they work), but more importantly, I want the window that opens to be 'dressed' rather than just have the pdf icon and a message saying double click to open.

I work only on a mac, so can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to go about this.

    I need to:

    a) create a custom background to the window that opens

    and

    b) create an auto open CDR that works across all platforms.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

    Andy

Well i'm not quite sure about all platforms but i'd try something like a flash projector file:

    http://www.flashkit.com/tutorials/Projector/

It could show a screen which will ask the user to pick whether they would like to open the pdf menu file or install the pdf viewer
