Hey all, have been reading the forums for a while now but finally registered so that I can jump into the conversation. My question is this: I have a sports website dedicated to a specific sports team that averaged about 3 million impressions and 60k uniques monthly. Unfortunately, a lot of that is on forums, which seems to cause CPMs to take a big hit. I have gone through a specific sports-related ad vendor for some time, but am looking to explore what else is out there. I know a site that is A)sports-related and B) derives a big chunk of its PVs from forums is not optimal in terms of generating revenue, but it's still a relatively busy site. I tried AdSense once before but had little idea what I was doing and earned terrible CPMs, maybe five cents IIRC. Any thoughts on the best way to monetize my site would be VERY much appreciated!
If anyone has any feedback, it would be much appreciated. I know very few of you are involved with sports-related sites, or so it seems, so perhaps that's the reason for the lack of feedback.
