Best Products -- Revision Rate

I'm relatively new to the e-commerce business world. The first site I was involved with was a click Bank affiliate site with very limited capabilities. Thankfully, even though I'm not an HTML programmer, I could probably play one on TV;) I was able to modify the site, add some additional affiliates, and create more than one page (all things significantly limited based on the website's initial control panel).

While I am still trying to build a customer base and attract traffic to the website, I have had little success to date.

My site is tailored toward products to help online businesses get started or improve. I basically searched the marketplace for high commission or high recurring payouts to select my product line.

    My questions are:

Does anyone have a list of recommended products which would fit into my niche?

    And

How often should someone revise the products which they are offering? Weekly? Monthly? More often?

Also, I recently came across a website which capitalized on click Bank, PayPal referrals, eBay referrals, and AdSense programs to generate income. One of the features of the website was a search program for the click bank which would automatically add your ID to the listings. This sounds like a good system to me.

Does anyone have any experience with that type of website they could share?

Start with the high gravity products and then test them daily to see the results.

there are way too many mall type sites out there and it is very difficult to make money with those for the following reasons:

    1. they do not attract SE traffic (most of them don't :) )
    2. they are just lists, not compelling sales letters, it is a challenge to even make your visitor click through to the vendor's page.

as for the list of products.... there is no such thing as a recommended list of products. whenever someone recommends a product you always need to take it with the degree of salt. this is aff marketing world and everyone is trying to make commissions; do not forget about it.

the product recommendation that I will accept should look like this: I (name) spent 500$ on PPCs testing this (bla) product. I was able to (break even|make profit|lose all the money spent on PPC|etc). And there should be some kind of proof for me to believe that recommendation :D (the screenshot of a clickbank|adwords|etc is not considered to be a valid proof).

    cheers.
