Hi, First time poster here, writing from Little Old England. I'm looking to advertise via PPC in the US for an affiliate project: aside from the big three (Google, Yahoo and MSN) are there any other big PPC networks that are particularly effective for the US market? And any that are specifically good for local/geo targeted search? Apologies if this has been asked before, I've had a dig around but couldn't find an answer to this specific quesiton. Thanks!
@Wuweichao Mostly, just concerned with overall coverage: are there any big PPC systems that are regularly used to target the US apart from Google, Yahoo and MSN. Not so interested in the more niche and obscure systems.
Facebook and Myspace also have PPC programs. Ask.com, 7search, most search engines will have a ppc program.
I tried many "discount" ppc programs starting out almost two years ago. Miva, Enhance, kanoodle, 123Search, the list goes on. Cheap clicks are very deceptive. You may get the word out, but the traffic is not usually very targeted. The reason that the big boys are more expensive, IMHO, is that they work. They offer services like geo-targeting, match types, site exclusion, and the likes. There is money to be saved, or made with these smaller companies, but you are playing with dynamite. Cheap clicks do not always end up in lower cost per conversions.
