What, in your opinion, is the best portal solution for vBulletin? I am interested in both free and paid solutions.

    Thanks! :)

I haven't setup a portal system yet myself, but from what I've heard snoopgst pinned it with vbadvanced...

I just converted to vBAdvanced CMPS and couldn't be happier. Did I mention its also free! :) Don't expect a ton of support though, so you will have to do alot of searching.

Vbadvanced is certainly the best IMHO, vbindex is okay but I find it breaks easily when you customize.

I dont think there is any real need, VBA offers as much and given its opensource you will always find more add ons available.

vBAdvanced CMPS - I'm going to have to look into this - I just tonight purchased a vB license. I have used other forum software in the past for forums that are integral to wider sites, but am just now setting up my first forum-only site and the thought about CMS or portal software for the landing page of the site had never even crossed my mind. Thanks Skribblez for bringing this to my attention!

Vote for advanced here too, there's no need to get a paid solution really, it does it all.
