Yoast is far more ahead than any other plugins. It has so many features that it covers more than one plugin.
bpshbp, As you can see from previous responses, Yoast seems to be a popular choice. In fact, evolvingSEO over at SEOMoz emphasizes the effectiveness of this plugin. This is specific to a WordPress site, but I think would be helpful to you. The piece talks in detail about using WordPress for SEO. I have provided the link to the article below. http://www.seomoz.org/blog/setup-wordpress-for-seo-success Hope this helps to answer your question, Shawn
There so many free and paid tools available..But i would recon AllInOneSeo..It is really nice, simple to use and really effective....along with that you can use TinyMCE for H1, H2, H3 tag and other formating...Assume u r taking about Word press site.
These replies recommend one or the other between All in One and Yoast, but don't say why. Has anyone done a comparison and know the difference between them? I'm using the All in One which is fine, but I'm curious about the Yoast - it seems more complicated but haven't tried it.
I've checked out that link from seomoz that Shawn recommended above, and I can highly recommend it - it's very comprehensive and useful. Thanks. I can also suggest that the TinyMCE plugin has had several upgrades since it was mentioned above. I use the Ulitmate TinyMCE plugin and that was upgraded again, a couple of months ago. It works fine, and I use it everyday for lots of formatting and H1, H2 etc.
