One more thing to consider is how easily you can move data from one webapp to another. Easy integration is important for saving time and money. No one has the time to re-type the same data in different places. I encourage you to have a closer look at Magento, Shopify and Bigcommerce, which all have good integration options to both CRM, accounting and email marketing solutions. All ideas and comments are welcome.

I would prefer Wordpress with WOOCOMMERCE or WP-SHOP plugins along with e-commerce themes would solve your problem.

If you have technical knowledge in PHP/MySQL/HTML/Wordpress , you should be able to do it .

Magento is liked by a lot of online sellers because of its high level of customizability.

Bigcommerce is another one that a lot of people like -- it's got a ton of great themes that will look awesome right out of the box, but it isn't free.

From my experience, i would say Magento or Magento Go. Would not even consider anything else at the moment.

I think the best is wordpress.
Easy to use easy to upgrade by clicking on single button.
On wordpress shop you can make it ecommerce site by plugin. Woocommerce is the best one.
Install it and just click Install the Pages. It Will create pages just you have to look at the setting of Woocommerce.

Also there are server themes which create the wordpress to shop
    Like Bazar shop. Mayashop
If you are interested to creating PM i will setup all just you have to put the products to sale.
Woocommerce is best because you can add affiliate product too.

You can choose any of the ready made script developed in php, so that it will have more flexibility to have a website with your preference.

If you want to choose in between Magento and Shopify then it is good to go with Magento it is an open source and powerful platform with huge library of existing extensions. Magneto is also more SEO friendly. If you want to work on Shopify then the bad thing is that the cost is very much higher, and it will charge you transaction fee also.

you can check uniquescriptz.com website. they are offering good ecommerce cms for just $249. Best part of that is its completely customizable. I have used that and its pretty good. with feature of managing product, category, invoices, blogs, images, and coupon system. you can check there demo at http://www.uniquescriptz.com/ecommerce-script/

if you need any help in magento or wordpress then I can do that as freelancer. let us know if something required.
