Hi Everyone. Domains industry is very competitive and the margins are not very high looking at the recent special offers by most companies. I would like to ask the members here about suggestions on how one can market a domain selling business. 1 Adwords / PPC ? >> The price per click is high and the people who make account is less. So, acquiring a client can cost around $ 3 - 4. 2. Affiliate Program ? >> I do not have any idea as i haven't tried it yet. 3. SEO / Keyword Ranking >> I do not think this will work here as the industry is very competitive and the site can't be seo optimized to that extent as it is automated solution from some other company. 4. Direct link buying from other websites >> I have no idea, as haven't tried. Please give your suggestions to market such a website. The customers are having accounts with 2 - 3 companies and they register with the one who is offering the best prices during those times. Thanks Gurpreet
this can be done, but i guess it will be too much effort and will need lot of time to do that even looking at the competition in the industry. Even some funny keywords have good number of people running after.
The point of long tail keywords is that they're easy to rank for! If you've got some time on your hands go for domains 22963 if you want something a bit easier go for buy and sell domains 5158 if you are not good at SEO go for magnetic domains 136 There's not many people searching for domains anyway so my guess is that the industry is very saturated. Either use a different marketing method or choose a different industry.
