I'm trying to do some article marketing in order to promote my website and business. Can anyone tell me some good sites to upload articles too? I'm using Blogger but that's about it at the moment.
I'd recommend submitedgeseo for distributing and submitting articles. http://www.submitedgeseo.com/article-submission-service.html
I don't really want to pay just for submissions at the moment. I'm a writer myself so I can write and then submit so I need free sites really. I only don't like the idea of uploading one article to multiple sites - can't be good.
http://www.latesttutorial.com/top-50-dofollow-high-pr-article-submission-sites-for-seo-backlinks/ - This is a list of 50 do-follow article submission websites that have high-traffic and a high PR. I feel submitting your articles here can help you to build good backlinks. Most of them, I guess, are free, but please check it before submitting any content there. Though article submission and PR are quite dead now, I've found that they do help to drive some sustainable traffic to your site esp. through backlinking. Launching your own blog with unique and original content is a much better idea if you ask me. Most of the content on these article directories is substandard and people often view them as places to post spam about your products/services. With your own blog, you have complete control of whatever strategy you implement and a great deal of scope to experiment with different types of content. Make a point of targeting the right keywords and take proper steps for SEO. I don't think you should have any trouble getting your blog up and higher in SERPs after doing this. Just my 2c anyway. Hope it helps.
Thanks for your '2c', it was helpful. At the moment I'm not entirely sure of the best SEO strategies other than keywords etc so I'm trying a few things to see what will bring traffic.
You're welcome. You'll find a lot of stuff about how to bring traffic to your website being discussed here or on pages you'll come across through Google. However, one thing worth noticing is there's no sure-fire way. You would have to experiment with various approaches and adopt the ones that work best for you. Try to be as flexible as you can in your traffic-generation strategy so that you won't have much trouble when switching to a different course of action when one doesn't work as expected. Social media is a powerful tool you can use. When making your content SEO-compatible, keep in mind NOT to overdo it. Anything that kills the reader-oriented value of your content is harmful in the long run. Quality takes a little time to pay off but that's what makes you stand out and gets you at the top ultimately.
The best way to do is to submit your unique content to high pr article submission site and every story must be submitted once to avoid duplicate content. Get a .com site, or even .net. Don't use blogger (correct me if I'm wrong, you are using <<yourdomain>>.blogspot.com right)? The best way to go about it is to get your own domain. You will earn well from it, especially because you are blogging.
There is a difference between <<yourdomain>>.blogspot.com, and <<yourdomain.com. When you have the second one, you will monetize well - that is the main reason we are in Internet Marketing. However, it is hard to monetize with the first one. Do not stop working on the first on though, you will need it for traffic generation.
'xyz.com' certainly makes a difference as compared to 'xyz.blogspot.com', but that doesn't mean you're at a disadvantage. Most people only stick to Google and SEO to build traffic, but you can employ other ways by focusing on the less tapped sources as social media, backlinking, Facebook ads, PPV, POF, guest posting and search engines other than Google such as Bing, Yahoo etc. Once you're able to drive a good amount of sustainable traffic to your blog, monetizing it should not be difficult. One another note, it's very hard to get a .com domain of your choice nowadays.
I was also searching for sites to write guest posts for last week and I came across this list: http://www.petersandeen.com/list-of-guest-blogging-sites/ Regarding having main site and blog on blogger.com with backlinks: I've seen a video recently about similar approach and reasons of not doing so. I don't remember where I saw, so no link, but I'll try to explain the main idea. So you've got main site A, and sites B, C, D with articles and backlinks to site A. Well in this case some people will come to sites B, C, D but not all of them will follow the link and go to site A. This way you're basically loosing your potential auditorium. So, absolutly best way is having all relevant content on main site. In this case all visitors will be coming directly to your main site, where they have much greater chances to convert.
Hi again piano girl. Have you heard of article syndication? Essentially, all of the content you currently have on your website can be shared on other content syndication sites. And no, your work will not be considered duplicate content like most think! Google is totally aware that the content was published on your site first, and will not penalize you for publishing elsewhere. Just remember to put a link back to your website when syndicating your articles! Have a look at this article here - it explains in more detail: http://www.steamfeed.com/does-article-syndication-create-duplicate-content/ Remember - if you're going to publish articles elsewhere, publish them to your main site first! Then go ahead and submit (syndicate) them elsewhere. Hope this helps and good luck!
Thanks for the list. For instant approval submit articles on following sites:- http://www.articlesbase.com/ 5 http://www.sooperarticles.com/ 3 http://www.artipot.com/ 3 http://www.articles.org/ 2
I would recommend searching out different bloggers or other media outlets in related fields to your business and reach out to those individuals and send in articles to them to push out your ideas.
