i sell mine at godaddy and dpforums.. :) godaddy is a good place to start but as usual as long as you can live with its slow interface.

    Hey

I've had great success with Afternic.

Also, Namedrive just opened up their NDX market and I already sold one. I think its free for the first 30 days.

Then the other good area is NamePros. I've had great success there as well.

Sedo is good but you definitely have to get it featured.

    Hope that helps.

Forums like this if you are wanting to sell in a hurry but for a very cheap price. Otherwise I would make a list of end users that would benefit from the name and contact them directly marketing the domain. I have sold many domains at good prices this way. Listing on Sedo, Afternic, etc. will give you a very small chance of a sale and you will generally be waiting a very long time. Only a small percentage of portfolios are ever sold through the major venues at decent prices.

    Hi,

I totally agree with thewebhostingdir about the featured or premium listings. Unless you list your domain name with a featured or premium listing, it is more likely that it won't take the attention of a huge audience.

Besides, as a domain seller and reseller, I know how hard it is to market your domain name. You have to spend tons of money in order for some domainers see your domain. The missing point here is that, what you are actually doing is to market your domains to other domainers like yourself. Ordinary people or the ones that really need that domain don't usually surf through the domain listings.

For all those reasons parking your domain name is going to work in all ways. This way people don't have to go through all those domain listing pages and check whether the domain name they are looking are available or not.

All the domain name auction websites are basically the same except for the prices. There are also free auction websites like http://sell.your.name where you can list and park your domain for free. Parking works some different from others. When people click on or type your URL, it redirects user to the auction page. That way, the user has the chance to directly see how much money is being offered to the domain and the traffic at the end of the page.

I hope this explanation of mine works fine for you.

    Best

I'd suggest positing on DP domain forums mostly due to the fact that it has a very large number of members and thus a higher possibility that you'll get the best possible offer :)

The best is to sell your domains to endusers. If you're only looking to flip, I'd say forums are the best (DP, NP and DNF).

Hard to measure which one is the best, you just need to sell it at the right time, with auction make sure it expires when most potential buyers would be checking the auction. I reckon Sedo is pretty good and Ebay as well, about this forum I don't know.
