Hey guys, really don't know the right place of placing ads.
I started a website specially for adsense a few days ago bedroomcolors.net and I tried some placements like in the first post the biggest text box,on a 160x600 in widget area...the result is 0.00$ :).

I am still doing SEO for the site but I also get traffic from the keywords I have chosen..so can you please tell me what is the best place to put the ads?
I don't want it to look like a SPAM website. The articles are nice I have 2 articles with 500+ words each and will add more.

Your ad placement is good, you need some quality content posted on daily bases and a good amount of user :)

your ad placement is perfect, there is nothing wrong with it. The only thing I would suggest is you use a combination of article and video on your blog

Ad placement is fine but that purple skyscraper is very (Ouch!) hard on the eyes and I think it may put people off. Why not try reversing the whole scheme on that ad? e.g. white nackground, black text and purple just for the headings? Far better for the CTR I should think - You might as well try this change as if it's making $0.00 then a change can only be for the better, and other than time a change costs nothing to do.
    Hope this helps

You said you only started it a few days ago?
Don't change yours ad placement around or anything, give the site a few weeks to a month to really test your current positioning and then have a look at changes if you aren't seeing much action on them.

    Hey OP,

First of all, I think your ad placements are fine the way they are. What I recommend is try to "blend" in the colors of the ads to your theme colors. The reason I say this is because from my experience it gives the user a better experience simple because it looks more natural. Also by complimenting your theme colors, you get to "fool" the users by getting them to think that the ads are really just "links" on your page. That way you get more clicks and it will drive your ctr up and your earnings will significantly increase. Hope my tips work, if you need any help, feel free to contact me.
