Best placement tactic

    When trying to place ads in the interior of an article is it better to make them stand out with different colors and stuff that catch the eye or make them blend into the article as well as you can with the same background and color?

    It's usually better to blend them. Try experimenting and see what works best for you.

    I just thought I would share that blending them into the content and just below the main menu navigation at the top increased my ctr about 2%.

    I basically made the text colors and font the same, link colors the same with no borders and the same background color as the background of the page they are on.

    At least on this site there is no comparison.
