I'm looking at developing backlinks for my website (www.geekzenith.com) and wondering where the best article directories are? My content is mostly web tutorials and I've noticed the few article directories I've investigated may not be appropriate (because they don't allow images). Anyone have any suggestions?
Best would be writing articles, spinning them, and use a paid service like uniquearticlewizard to post, but with UAW you'll need a lot of articles per day to make it worthwhile for the monthly cost. Otherwise, it's best if you install roboform for registration purpose, and grab a list of article directory lists, sign up onto all of them, and post them slowly, or hire a freelancer in DP to do those for you.
I'm a big fan of EzineArticles - they have good PR, are indexed very quickly, and can send lots of targeted traffic as well.
Find do follow and high PR article directory to make backlink to your site. I use ezine articles, go articles, article dashboard, article city.
If you are writing quality informative how to articles it might be best to put them on your website directly and get traffic from people searching for that help vs putting on someone elses website/article directory. Then you can build back links to your website and rank for those terms; perhaps submit related, but not your exact how to guides to directories: Ezines, Buzzle, are among the most popular.
