Best place to sell domain names?

    Hello,

I am interested in selling a domain name and wonder if anyone has a suggestion on the best place to sell domains? I've tried Godaddy's service with not very good results. I hear some people use Sedo but have never tried them.

    Anyone have a recommendation? :)

Besides Sedo, you can submit your domains to Moniker.com. They hold Live as well as silent auctions regularly. All the best :)

Sedo is very popular but takes a big fee.

Try Moniker or right here on the DP forums. Both are excellent.

DNForum.com or here at DP. Sedo take a cut of the selling fee, and can take a long time to sell the domain!

DNForum and Namepros are good for selling domains. I would also try Sedo, also they will charge less commision if you use their parking service. They are probably the best domain marketplace. You could also use Afternic.com.

    cheers

Depends on how much you want for your domains.

If you'e asking less than $600 try AfterNIC Bazaar.

Depends how good the domain is...If its just your average domain I would say forums are the best. right here at DP, NamePros, DNF..etc. If you're talking about a good premium domain I think sedo is your best bet.

DP is the most effective forum for buying or selling a website.

I really like NamePros.com though; they have a really great community (I'm Frikkle there.)

Checked Sedo... one of the domains sold recently was for videotravel.net for USD1400 :) I own videotravel.in ... and hope to make same amount, even if that means paying 10% to sedo.

Thanks to all your suggestions - going to check other sites you have mentioned.

    Cheers

I'd recommend dnforum.com because I've heard that people have had good experience with them.

I have been reading the posts over at dnforum for the last couple of months and the information over there is awesome. I also have recently just signed up for an afternic account so will see how I go on with them.
