Best place to park your domains?

Bodis allow you to customize your parking page a great deal.
It need not be as unappealing as that domain.

Just have a look at http://fax-online.org/ parked at Bodis to see what I mean.

Hey meditang , what did you change , i've not seen a standard bodis cash parked doman park? are all the links set up by Bodis , did you mainly change colours and add the fax machine??

 

Parked.com, Sedo and TrafficZ are working best for me. GoldKey is still pretty good and they allow small players. Great landing pages but not paying as well as they used to. I compare these services and others at ParkQuick.com.

 

Bodis started only this year so you can't expect enough advertisers. I believe, they are still working on it.

 

You can add the image you want and change colours. Also you can edit the links and the text.

 

i was reading your post about using parked.com , i'm also using parked.com , but i've not submitting any of them to directorys etc , did you find you needed to do this to have any kind of traffic and return on the cash parked domains? any advice for a keen and eager to learn more newbie....

 

I haven't submitted any to directories. It does take a while though for them to get pagerank - but dome do using Parked or TrafficZ. Traffic is trickier, and generally it's best if the domains already get some traffic.

 

I think it is against the TOS to list parked domains in directories. Check with your parking service.

 

This might be of interest to you all , i contacted parked.com and asked them if its possible to add content to the parked pages , they said not at the moment BUT in 2 weeks time yes , they sent me a link that shows this , it was just mainly text , so i guess a article can be posted on there , not sure if pictures etc can be added , would be nice with a free blog on each parked domain , that would keep them interesting .

NameDrive gives pages like this http://win2k8.info so I am assuming Parked.com is following suite.

 

NameDrive has some awesome parked pages. Very customized look.

 

It's not too bad true.

One of the useful features besides the look is that NameDrive allaws you to actually change the look of the page based on where the traffic is coming from (ie which continent/area).

Will be interesting to see what new things come fromt them.

 

It is nice to be able to see what the foreign targeted traffic sees. Especially since I am about 5% English language and 95% foreign language.

You can use different keywords for different audiences. Cool!

 

that page at parkdrive looks great , i was wondering is there any cash parked places that also have free content on there pages , as i would like to submit my pages to search engines etc , to help generate some traffic for the clicks....

 

I've heard SEDO is pretty good, however looking at this thread I realize that there are many unsatisfied users with SEDO.

 

I don't know of any parking providers who allow you to drive traffic to your pages. The risk of 'arbitrage' is too high. If you want to drive traffic to your domain, you have to develop your own site.

 

I think SEDO is the best one

 

This is fascinating information. Parked is currently down for a server upgrade. I expect that we will see this capability added when they are up again. TrafficZ has had the ability to add text and some html for some time now, but they are primarily looking for large portfolio owners.
