Where is the best place to get a domain name appraisal? And are they accurate? If you sell domains, do you get apraisals to get an idea of what it's worth or what do you do when considering buying or selling a domain??

The domain names category isn't so active, that's true!
But you could try NamePros or WebHostingTalk

Generally speaking, an appraisal service has to have a proprietary database of domains sales in order to give you an accurate appraisal. I'd look at Sedo and Afternic. I'd stay away from GoDaddy at this point...some of the ones I've seen don't make any sense.
