    There are forums intended for bloggers to where you can find specific bloggers. One site i can recommend is bloggeries.com, there are few more like such kind of site where bloggers gather. If you intend to find bloggers who will promote your site, try seoclerks.

    That's my issue, I kinda don't have a site yet.. I'm wanting to see if this would be a good way to go with my writing; or I would be better looking into other routes. Maybe small writing jobs would be best to get started and build confidence, how did you start?

    Bloggeries is a directory for blogs and a pretty expensive one too. It's not intended to find bloggers for hire.
