Paypal all around excepted and best way to make payment. Not using any other form of payment to get paid.

I think it depends on the type of merchant. For small value transactions and low risk merchants then I would say PayPal.

If you are dealing with high risk merchants (gaming, adult, pharma) where security and anti-fraud is an issue I would go via a 3D secure credit card payment. Specific high risk Payment Service Providers such as E-Royal (e-royal.co) or Wirecard (wirecard.com) are good where extra security is built in.

As an ecommerce website I use Paypal, just because it is the most "trusted" online payment system that would be familiar to the majority of my customers. It just adds to the "professionalism" of my site.

I think Balanced Payments seems like a good payment processor , especially for small up and coming companies. Either that or stripe if you are trying to incorporate payment processing into your application. just my 2 cents

Would you care to explain the basics of this processor?

I can't see that happening. Paypal dominates all online payments, and I can't see any other company coming and and overtaking them. It's universally accepted on the internet and nearly all large websites accept it as a payment method.

Paypal is definitely the most used but personally I think stripe is a cleaner, better all around system for accepting payments.

If you ask me Skrill is the best. My first option. Why ?
    - low fees
    - fast withdrawal
Credit Card / Bank Wire support for deposit / withdraw.

This has been a helpful thread. I think I'm going to check out Wepay. Paypal has a monthly fee. I would like to avoid that.

By the way, forgot to mention related to Skrill payment processor.

All of you who are using Bank Wire as an option tor withdraw funds and experienced bigger fees from the end of 2013. (like me), please try use Credit Card withdrawal. Fees are much lower and in most countries you do not need to attach documents in your bank for funds to be processed. Only disadvantage is that your funds will be converted in your main foreign currency. Hope i helped.

Payza is not bad except they constantly have some "baby problems". Personally I never had problem with withdraw options. I was holding there large amount of sums several times, without problems. When I said "large sums" I mean $2000+.
