Here is the big list of Merchant Gateways supported by WHMCS which stores credit card information securely on your database while other supported networks takes buyer to 3rd party site to process payments.

    Merchant Gateways

    AsiaPay Authorize.net BluePay
    CamTech Cyberbit eMatters
    eProcessingNetwork eWay FastHosts
    IMSP InternetSecure IP.Pay
    Kuveytturk Bank LinkPoint Merchant Partners
    Moneris Merchant Warrior NaviGate
    NETbilling Netregistry Pay NTPNow
Offline Credit Card OpenECHO Optimal Payments
Payflow Pro Pay Junction PayPal Payments Pro
    Planet Authorize PSIGate Quantum Gateway
    SagePay SecPay SecurePay
    SecurePay AU TrustCommerce USA ePay
    WorldPay Invisible WorldPay Invisible XML

I would suggest you to have a look at this url http://docs.whmcs.com/Payment_Gateways

I have experience with a few of these.

Sage has two gateway systems, and their auditing is obtuse, and impossible to work with. They give you a lot of oddball technical sounding errors, and it's impossible to know what you're doing wrong. Documentation is all over the board, and it's tough to follow which API you're using.

You couldn't pay me enough to have anything to do with Fasthosts.

Paypal's API is pretty straight forward, but you're still dealing with Paypal. Their practices in my observation have been horrible. They suspend accounts for no reason, and their rates are nothing to write home about. On top of that, you'll get flagged if you ever do any volume. Paypal is bad juju.

Worldpay isn't bad, but they are not transparent to the user. They actually send your customers Worldpay branded confirmation emails. It's okay... but I've always thought that was in bad taste.

Asia pay is good. They're easy to work with, but I wasn't happy with their support last time.

There's also one called Swipetech, which is pretty good. They also do Authorize.net, but their service is a little better than Asia pay. More personal.

There's also 2co. Gateway is good, service is good. Rates are way too high.

    9,95$/month :
    • 0.99% + $0.25 per debit transaction
    • 1.79% + $0.20 per credit transaction
    • FREE Credit Card Terminal*
    • FREE Setup & Activation
    • Free Credit Card terminal" - would do the job?!

Yes. WHCMS supports authorize.net, so you would be compatible.
I'm actually not sure if that's the right set of rates, but my experiences with them have been positive.

Well, for WHCMS, you've got a ton of options.
    http://www.whmcs.com/features/supported-modules/

Under the payment modules section, the list is huge.
A lot of them are e-check, though, and you don't want to bother with that if you don't have to.

    From the supported list,
Amazon simplepay would be my pick.
    2co is easy too.
Both cases, though, rates above 3%.
