Now that I have spread my domains through SEDO, Namedrive and Fabulous, I can say that Fabulous gives by the far the best PPC and only a slightly lower CTR than Namedrive. SEDO, however, doesn't seem to get me a high amount per click or a large number of clicks.

The affiliate program for Namedrive is something that seems to be fairly effective.

I use SEDO, but probably not for much longer.

    PROS:

    Prompt payment (for me anyway)
    Admin panel well designed
Usually serves up content that matches my domain

    CONS:

    CPC low and in decline!
    Admin panel glitches occasionally

What really prompted me to start looking for another Domain Name Sponsor though was the email I received from SEDO asking where my traffic was coming from. I recently purchased a domain that had a lot of legacy typein traffic and parked it at SEDO. After a couple of months I received an email from SEDO asking me were the traffic came from, and unless I could verify the source, they would withhold payment. I explained to them the situation but never received a reply. It's not as though we are talking vast sums of money either, but it's the principal of the thing :)

Like I said, its all about the type of names, the tld extension, the category, typo
or type in, etc. I need to look at the names to give some good advise.

But ok, in very very general terms speaking I can say

    for US traffic:
Start with domainsponsor, you cant go wrong there
Gambling traffic? Park those at fabulous.com
Very general traffic, try namedrive, they do well for me
Parking services that did not good for me:
    domainspa, klickerz, parked

    foreign traffic:
namedrive does best for my .it traffic
domainsponsor does best for my .hu traffic
.nl traffic I use affiliate programs for at kliks.nl/affiliates.nl

    hope this helps a bit

This is what we are doing at: http://www.parketeer.com - Here are a few features:

    1. System generates a 13 page "site"
    2. You have the ability to customize your own page title and meta tags, page menu names and page names themselves.
    3. Domainers can customize their own parking pages with header and css style
    4. System automatically does the SEO
    5. You can add affiliate links/banners, text links (client wide, site wide, each page)
    6. Sites look natural with rss feeds
    7. You keep 100% of the ad revenue
    8. Flat fee $2 per month per domain (Bulk discounts)
    9. Revenue share banners
    10. Site map, will have google and yahoo site map.
    11. You can use your own content.
    12. You can de-select revenue share banners
    13. You can have G**gle Adwords or Yahoo Ads
    14. Add to favorites link, for sale link

These items are in the works so far:
    1. You will be able to add affiliate banners
    2. Search feature for unlimited pages of ads per search

    http://www.cheeseburgers.ws - Example site

There are so many great features to mention it is hard to remember them all. I was also so busy my 11 year old daughter put 300+ domains into the system; takes about 2 minutes each.

The best part about the system is the SEO. We have gotten top listings on the sites in the system and all sites have retained their pagerank to date. We are domain owners and SEO experts and built the system to have a better place to park our domains. We don't control your adwords money, we don't live our company off of "the more money you make, the more money we take"

I look forward to any comments on what we have done.

I'm getting very little from NameDrive. At first it was pretty good, but now the clicks are very low. I, myself will be searching another site for better clicks.

Parketeer is changing the domain market in just a few ways; We don't control the the ppc dial behind the scenes and dole out to you whatever amount suits us. We don't control your money.

We have watched people jump from one parking system to another, stating that the revenue is getting less. We have seen this in our own domains. The problem when you move your domains is it is nothing different, just another dompany with their hand on the ppc dial. So nothing gets solved.

We consider our Parketeer as more than just a parking company. We generate mini sites, ones that you can manage, customize, add your own content and tweek for the best revenue possible. Drawback: instant glory!

Where most parking systems provide that instant gratification of money they reign. But instant gratification always comes at a price. The price is at your expense. How can your domain business grow if someone always slices your profit off the top? It will not. Something must change.

Parketeer is that change, its different. You just have to see for yourself.

These parking services will go to any length to get your sites in the door so they can take 50% of your revenue for as long as you are a client. I am sure they have stipulations on the gift that you have to park with them for 6 months or a year so that 50 cent fee is well covered.

Remember it's your money, keep as much of it as you can, then you can buy more domains. Can you imagine if you have one domain that makes $100. Lets put aside you give the parking company $50 of that money. Look at the side the parking company is on. Lay out almost nothing and get 50% of the revenue from 10,000 - 100,000 - or 1 million domains - You can see who wins at this game and it is not the domain owners who get 50% less in return.

Be careful, very careful. Deals that look good for the moment benefit the deal maker not the deal taker. Thats business.

Go read the fine print, you will see what I mean.
