best package for testing on localhost

    Previously i used wamp, now switched to xampp..but still it's not really what i want.

    The problem with that is..supposedly if i am testing wordpress and i try to implement the sef permalink...it does not read properly etc

    Anyways, was wondering which would be my best option

    What do you people use?

    With latest WAMP, you can enable mod_rewrite using menu and use SEF permalinks.
