What is the safest option to get money from client after you are done with the deal, in order to avoid any limitations.. and solid reasons of WHY?

    1. Ask your customer to use the 'Send Money' option to send you the money!
    2. Use the Paypal Invoice?
    3. Request Money option?
    4. The Buy Now button to receive money from sales.

For premier and verified accounts in paypal.

hey thats useful but lets discuss this in detail for our newbies at dp.
okay so i have made a deal worth say 100$,now Mr.X has to send me the payment first and say i will then transfer him the domain, so it does matter how he sends since he can reverse the payment anytime, now what measures should i take beforehand so Mr.X does not have this creepy action in the back of his mind. what should i tell him to send payment through!!

i think one can charge back even if you send them invoice, because if you send them invoice and then after payment if you wont send the product he is having a right to charge back.

So I think paypal is not safe in any case

One thing. Having your paypal limited has nothing to do with any of these. All of these are simply different ways of accepting a payment method through paypal, and regardless of how you do it, there is always a chance of getting limited.

The factors that will depict your account limitation status will be whether or not your account has been verified, if you withdraw from another country, if you are using details connected to a limited paypal account, or if your withdrawal amount is much larger than your ususal withdrawal amounts.

However, regardless of if all of these are okay, if you're a new user, it's almost guaranteed your account WILL get limited at least once. Since november 07, it seems that this has been a standard practise for paypal to overcome fraudulent transactions.

Also, paypal now use flash cookies to track your activity. Make sure you login and withdraw your money from the PC you ususally login to your paypal account from.

But yea, like I say - it's not receiving money that's an issue. It's when you try and withdraw it the limitations will start rolling in.

    Good luck!

    Wrong toots.

Best advice is that you send them a copy of their 'work' on disk. Make sure you include that it must be signed for.

Do this, even if you have provided in a download, or some other delivery prior. If you can track and show that it was signed for. They have NO repercussions.

This tip comes directly from PayPal. I had this happen a few times, and since PayPal doesn't do jack sh*t about virtual transactions. They said the above way I mentioned was one way to make sure there is no backing out.

    Hope this helps.

if Mr. X reverse or chargeback the payment from you then you can either take a metal baseball bat and goto this address and fix his ass good... or you can use moneybookers to avoid losing the money....:D
