Best Option for Market Surveys?

Discussion in 'General Marketing' started by Xangis, May 27, 2014.

I have a market survey that I've written, and now I need an audience to take it.

I'm looking for a service that already has a pool of users that can take this survey for a reasonable fee per response. I know there are tons of services that pay their users to take surveys, but haven't used any of them myself and don't know which service would be best.

What service(s) would you recommend to get these surveys answered?

I don't know of any offhand. You could always pay people via Paypal. You just need their Paypal email.

Buy banners from the websites same as in your niche or try Survey Content locking sites like cleanfiles or sharecash

Survey Monkey seems to be one of the most popular ones. They probably are one of the ones with the least amount of spyware, too. I like that you can send people surveys via email.

SurveyMonkey is probably the best way.

Another tip? - If you have an email list... Just ask them point blank haha.

    Seriously.

Email them a bunch of questions, and then ASK them to reply. This also trains your list to communicate with you, which is a superlative variable of your success. :)

SurveyMonkey here too. Simple and works great.

You can try asking bloggers who are in your niche, post through social media or buy targeted traffic while building up a list at the same time. In fact, you should probably do them all :D

You will find tools like SurveyMonkey, Zoomerang, SurveyGizmo, PollDaddy etc. in market. But I will prefer SurveyMonkey. It offers a popular online hosted survey tool that works well for basic surveys. The free version might be useful for very small and informal surveys, but allows very little customization of the look of the survey, no downloads of reports or data, and can only collect 10 questions and 100 responses per survey. The Select version ($16.99/month, or $199/year) offers unlimited questions and responses, customizability, skip logic and the ability to export Excel and PDF files. The package’s folder structure and “search by title” feature makes it easy to navigate through many surveys. Reports are minimal, but they allow you to export results to another application to do more serious analysis. Higher end Gold and Platinum versions ($24.99/month and $64.99/month) offer advanced logic features like question and answer piping, randomization, text analysis for open responses, and integration with IBM’s SPSS statistical software.
