It is important to write articles that are informative and niche oriented. In Alisha's case, the articles need to be beauty related. Alisha should remember to use keywords in the articles, but make sure the articles are of good quality, have original and unique content and are informative.
That's the basics of SEO right there. If you do that then you will rank decently. I would like to add that you use your keywords no less than 4% of the time in your site. Also make sure your html is clean and has no errors. If there are some fix them.
