Hello all. I'm looking to create site like adultfriendfinder. I've found many open source software such as dolphin, phpizabi, joomla, drupal, but not sure which one to go with. I hear Drupal is most powerful but also hardest to learn. I dont know much php except simple editing of wordpress themes thats about it. What do you guys suggest?
All those sites you listed require good knowledge of PHP. You can start a social networking site on a platform like www.thevillage.com, you don't need to know PHP to use it and they have support. It's free if you allow an ad on your site, you can take that ad off later if you pay.

Drupal requires much php knowledge as it was said before. If you're not very experienced in it, you might choose a ready-made software with features you need already in the package. For me, support also matters. So we chose PG Social Networking for our site!
