Best Open Source Link Directory software?

I would like to open a link directory and am looking for some open source programs to do one with.

Can anyone recommend any at all?

I have found OpenLD but thats the only one and it seems it doesn't work on GoDaddy Linux shared hosting.

    Thanks! :)

Well not open source (assuming you want something free) but phplinkdirectory is great (and only $25 with a link back to their website)

Lots of great featues and they are what I use.

I can help you with this. I have several free link directory scripts in operation and have done a bit of research in finding the best ones. Your needs however will determine which is the most suitable for you. The Godaddy/Linux web server you are using should support them all as well. From basic to more advanced:

CP Dynalinks . . . is a basic, one subcategory level, link directory I use for my freeware directory: http://www.sellhost.net/gwd

eSyndicat free version . . . is okay as well, I've used it but have replaced it with one of the following:

Dew-Code Links . . . . is a free open source software that is widely used, I may try it again on my next project

WSNlinks . . . by far the most feature rich and impressive of all free link directories I have ever used, the upgrade to the paid version is inevitable for me. I use it now for my fledgling eBook submission directory: http://www.classicseo.com/directory

    Hope this is helpful.

I'd also like to suggest phpLD as I've used it many times and have always been happy with the customizability. Like it was mentioned however, it really does depend on the specs for your particular use.

Is PHPLD by far the most popular? I need one that is common so that I can get it custom design and implemented.
