I'm in the process of building my first online store. Now I am working through the final tweaks to make it as easy to use as possible for my customers. So I'm really looking for online stores that you would reccomend I emulate from a customer perspective.

What stores do you really enjoy using? My site, if anyone is interested to take a look is: http://www.hobbykit.co.za

I like Amazon the best, but recommend some tracking and A/B testing once you launch.

I do like how the image flows to the shopping cart after customer press "add to cart" on your site.

Eastbay.com is awesome. They have hooked me up a few times with defective products and 100% refunded and also they have some sweet deals all the time.

Bingotrans.com is great, they are offering cool digital products at very low price. Comparing to some major shopping site, they have very competitive price.

I like to search and compare price first on some comparison shopping engine, then find the lowest price and best quality goods I want . I think comparison shopping engine is a useful tool for online shopping. Like nextag.com and bizrate.com

Thanks everyone. I am busy coding a comparison mod into the site to compare products on the site and maybe a few external products.

    Hi,
Opencart is quite new and everyone believes it will be a big hit in the future. It is very easy to use for a customer. Their website also has a demo page where you can get a feel for the e-commerce. All you have to do to buy soemthing is basically click the item you want and checkout....simpe write? Also the customers have an option to create an account if they will be regular customers of your site. Check it out i think you might like it
