I am a student and I was wondering what kind of stuff I could do online for a little extra money. I understand things like ebay would probably be the most profitable, but what else would there be to do? Thanks in advanced.

If you are a good writer I think that writing articles would be the best way to go.

Since you are a student Im guessing you dont have a big budget to do anything. So I would keep it simple and take article writing jobs. It takes no money to get started so you dont have to worry about losing money and its just pure profit.

With article writing you would have to choose your jobs carefully though as there are a lot of people offering very cheap article writing. Depending on how much money you're looking to earn you would need to compete on quality rather than price.

Other ideas will depend on what sort of time frame you want to be earning over. If you're able to get along reasonably okay without additional money you may look at setting up your own website which should after a while start to bring in income.

If you need some extra income fairly soon then you are probably better working for others. Article writing is one way to go. Other options will depend on what you are knowledgeable in.

If you know what you're doing in photoshop there's logo design, ebook cover design and other graphic design jobs available. If you are graphically inclined you may also be interested in designing templates.

If you know what you're doing with a programming language maybe a freelance programmer is the best way to go.

If you're good with numbers I've even heard of people just managing pay-per-click campaigns for people. This would require a degree of trust though and a positive track record wouldn't go amiss either.

More menial tasks include directory submissions but as with many article writing jobs the pay is typically low for the effort required.

I know of a few guys that have part time jobs as webmaster assistant type of jobs. New people are coming online and want to build their site and presence, lots don't have a clue how to design and maintain a website. You can try to get a job in this area if you have these skills.

    Banned. Lol.

I'm a student, and I make money from affiliate marketing. I don't have a big budget, so I only spend money on webhosting. All my advertising is free, so gotta love articles.

I just made a sale last night. Go me :D

I wonder if that was my doing. :) It did look as though the account was only set up to promote an affiliate network though.

Pointless when there are forum sections where it would have been perfectly acceptable and would probably have reached a more responsive audience.
