At this point I give up on this thread. Does anyone read any of the previous postings or do they just stick yet another list on the end of it?? Ok It wasn't a trick question, I know the answer.....

Best offpage technique for me is Article submission, write articles and submit into free article directories, hit keywords to your site, then do social bookmarking for those articles, this process gives you long term traffic, don't go for shortcuts, like web directory submission and direct social bookmarking.

 

Do some good profile linking and forum posting this will help you more to get ranking quickly.

 

I thought directory submission is obsolete strategy?

There are few members already mentioned that you have not given your website name or url, it is quite tough task for webmasters to explain why your site is not performing. There are blind assume that you have not submitted your websites in major search engines. Firstly submit you websites in major search engines and try to create a blog related your websites and posts some targeted keywords or key phrases using link of your website. Than ping the blogs in various ping submission directories.
